Sea Shepherd has launched the next phase of its controversial Ultimate Death Scene campaign, which sees actor David Field reprise his role for radio.

The campaign, by The Works, illustrates the horrific death of a human who has been hunted and killed by whalers in what it is calling 'The Ultimate Death Scene."

The latest phases sees Australian actor David Field reprise his role in a 90 second radio ad highlighting the barbaric way whales are hunted. The ad was made in conjunction with Southern Cross Austereo and will air on its Triple M and Hit stations around the country.

It also has expanded to print with a series of autopsy reports showing horrific injuries inflicted on a John Doe and a Jane Doe with wounds drawn on the human body and a description of injuries.

The Works creative partner Paul Swann said: “The response to the initial video has been phenomenal. In the print work we are once again trying to bring this cruel practice closer to home and the coroner’s report is an effective means to that end.

"In the radio spot David Field once again delivers a brutally realistic interpretation of the video and at 90 seconds it really cuts through when listening to radio.”
