Origin knows moving house is stressful – as stressful as getting married, apparently.

86% of Australians believe having energy connected the day of their move is one of the most important things to have sorted.

On the back of these new stats, Origin Energy has launched its latest retail campaign to help Australian’s feel less stressed when they are moving house.

The ad, by Whybins TBWA Melbourne, features a man carrying his fridge out of his apartment with the content being destroyed in the process. The voice-over says: “Moving house, don’t try moving a full fridge.”

It is designed to support Aussies by offering a $100 grocery voucher as reward for signing up online to Origin power and natural gas.
