Sportsbet are using Aussie sheep to send a message to the all blacks: “Call me!”

Sportsbet are playing on the old myth that New Zealand are “more than” fond of their sheep in a new ad that aims to get Australia excited ahead of Saturday’s Bledisloe Cup clash.

The ad shows a frisky flock of 500 hearing the news the All Blacks are coming to town.

One sheep says: “Sonny Bill can charge me!"

“No sheep were herd in the making of this video, but it could just put the All Blacks off their game enough for the Wallabies to pull the wool over their eyes on Saturday night,” sportsbet.com.au brand ambassador Christian Jantzen says.

Sportsbet never shies away from controversy, releasing an ad earlier this year that featured drug cheat Ben Johnson. The ad caused a social media stir and was ultimately banned by the ad watchdog.
