Skittles is keeping in it weird in its spot for the Super Bowl.
The 30-second Skittles spot for Super Bowl LI hit YouTube this morning.
Created by famed London agency adam&eve DDB (best known for holiday work for U.K. brands like John Lewis and Harvey Nichols), the spot tells a simple story of young love.
It starts with a boy throwing Skittles through his crush’s window, however in a modern day twist on romance, the candy is caught in her families' mouths. Randomly, also the mouths of a police officer and a robber.
The Skittles spot marks the brand's third consecutive year as a Super Bowl advertiser, though this will be the first time the creative was moved from DDB Chicago to sister office adam&eveDDB.
