Origin wants people to switch to the energy provider and it's sweetening the deal with up to $200 off your bill on offer.

Origin has launched a new campaign that provides customers with an Origin voucher of up to $200 in value – and the flexibility to choose when and how they use these rewards.

“Everyone has different expenses and energy needs throughout the year,” Gretchen Fox, group marketing manager - Retail said. “So Origin is introducing vouchers for customers up to $200 that they can apply to their electricity or natural gas bill when they need it most.”

“Many energy deals provide incentives for new customers, but Origin’s offer is unique because it gives customers freedom as to when they use their reward – this could be in summer when people are more likely to go overboard on holidays, in winter when energy usage can spike, or any other time of year people may need a little respite,” she added.

The creative for the campaign, developed by Whybin TBWA, depicts a range of different situations where some extra money would come in handy such as when the dog has destroyed your furniture, and when the family has just over indulged in Christmas, an overseas holiday or on Christmas cheer.

The campaign will feature both 30 second and 15 second TVCs, a series of vignettes for social media, print ads and digital display.
