It turns out you can say pretty much what you want in a fragrance commercial, as this new spot from Playboy and HM Communications proves.

With its fragrances lagging behind their Lynx counterparts, Playboy has turned to HM Communication and comedian Neel Kolhatkar to get viral with a fragrance commercial that makes no sense.

It teamed up with the comedian and HM to produce a piss-take fragrance commercial highlighting the utter nonsense of other artistic black and white fragrance commercials that actually make no sense.

Combining a hot chick, a soppy romantic soundtrack, a beach, Neel proves “you can say whatever the hell you want and no one really cares because they’re all looking at the hot chick.”

The campaign launched on YouTube last week and has garnered 67,000 views at the time of writing despite no paid support as yet.

HM said the campaign was launched on YouTube given the the platform has overtaken Facebook as the most popular site for teens, 50% versus 42%.

The online video will be supported by TV, digital pre-roll, and social support.
