Foxtel goes 'Godfather' in no-contract ad push

Michael Corleone might not have been able to leave the family, but luckily your friends at Foxtel let you leave without the drama.

The ad, by Clemenger Sydney, highlights Foxtel's no-contract sign up offer available until 30 June. The service allows customers to stay on a no-contract subscription for as long as they stay with the service meaning if they don't like it, they can leave.

Foxtel executive director of sales and marketing Ed Smith said: "May/June is traditionally the end of financial sale period for Foxtel, and a lot of people know our EOFYS sale.

"With our move to everyday low prices in November 2014 our entertainment package for 43 channels is only $25 a month all day, every day. We’ve being watching consumer confidence closely and this year we want to give people an opportunity to try Foxtel, at our new low price, and know that if they don’t like it, or their circumstances change, they can walk away.”
