You have medical checks, dental checks even regular car services. But when was the last time you bothered to check your health insurance?

It's not fun, but it is important. Online comparison site iSelect is here to remind us that it's not really enough to just have health insurance - it needs to match your lifestyle too.

Featuring the polarising Mr iSelect character, the campaign created by AJF Partnership Melbourne, puts in focus the 'set and forget' mentality that many people have towards services like health insurance.

In four different TVC's Mr iSelect invites himself into people's lounge rooms and gives them a good old fashion talking to for not addressing their outdated health insurance policies. And while one takeaway is that we should lock the door when we see Mr iSelect walking up the driveway, he does make a solid point.

iSelect marketing director Geraldine Davys says a lot of people are wasting money on outdated health insurance simply because they haven’t reviewed their policy for years.

“People often forget to update their health insurance as their life stage changes. But it’s not just a matter of switching from singles cover to family cover – iSelect’s health insurance providers have launched dozens of new policies into the Australian market over the past two years. There could be a more suitable policy for you out there without you even realising it exists,” she said.

The campaign will be rolled out across TV, radio, digital and social.
