Bailey Smith shines for CoinSpot via TRP

The CoinSpot Mastercard seamlessly bridges crypto and everyday life.

CoinSpot’s latest work via TRP presents AFL player Bailey Smith at a barbershop, having his iconic blonde locks tended to.

In a surprising turn, Bailey’s hair pays for its own haircut using the CoinSpot Mastercard.  

Ray Osthmuller, head of marketing at CoinSpot, said with Bailey and his unmistakable mullet, the company wanted to make more than just a statement about crypto.

"We wanted to prompt you to rethink how you can spend it. The CoinSpot Mastercard seamlessly bridges crypto and everyday life and the goal was to creatively portray that," said Osthmuller.

Kyle Ross, head of strategy at TRP, said everybody thinks they know crypto.

"But they’re shocked to learn you can use your crypto like cash with the CoinSpot MasterCard," he said.

"This campaign brings that surprise to life in a distinctly memorable way.” 

The campaign is currently live across subscription-video-on-demand and social media.
