AFL champions Charlie Dixon, Liam Jones, Brodie Grundy, Callum Sinclair and Elliot Yeo are the stars of a new campaign, Beyond Footy.

The campaign is a series of short videos that go behind the scenes with each player as they give you an insight into what keeps them motivated during life outside of football.

One of the world’s most successful and awarded wineries, Wolf Blass, together with AFL.com.au, has produced five, three-minute films that explore each player’s individual passions and the journey they went on to discover what they love doing most off the field.

From Charlie Dixon’s love of cars, Brodie’s passion for all things landscaping to Callum’s new podcast studio, the series will go live throughout the month of June on AFL.com.au and the Official AFL You Tube channel and social media platforms.

AFL general manager of commercial Kylie Rogers says each story is unique and showcases how passions – no matter how big or small – are key to a more fulfilling life.

“We are proud to work with Wolf Blass on ‘Beyond Footy’. The engaging series showcases the breadth of talent our players have, on top of also being elite athletes," Rogers says.

“For all players in the AFL, having a passion outside of their football career is incredibly important. It helps them grow personally and professionally as well as gives them a connection to the community outside of football."

Wolf Blass global marketing manager Robert Knott says the ‘Beyond Footy’ series personifies the spirit of Wolf Blass, and that is to celebrate the bold pursuit of triumph.

“Whatever you want to accomplish, success is achieved by those who back themselves and learn along the way, and that is what this motivating series demonstrates,” Knott says.

The first two videos featuring Charlie Dixon and Liam Jones are now live, with the three remaining films to be rolled out each week throughout the month of June.
