The DSLR phonies are back with Sony taking another punt at the fumbling DSLR owners who always miss the shot. In the new campaign we meet the Foreign Correspondent and the Sideline Hero who need a little help from the Sony NEX.

The campaign is aimed at non-professionals who want to take professional quality photos without the fuss of a DSLR.

Sony Australia's marketing manager of digital imaging, Ervin Quek said “We loved the good-humoured insight of last year’s ‘DSLR Gear No Idea’ campaign so much we decided to build on its success by re-visiting our characters in new scenarios and offering them the NEX alternative.”
