EXCLUSIVE: Betting company Tabcorp has appointed Whybin TBWA to its creative account, replacing incumbent BWM, AdNews has learnt.

Whybin TBWA also handles the creative business for Tabcorp-owned online betting company Luxbet, which it picked up in July 2012.

The decision comes after a five-way pitch involving Whybin TBWA, BWM, BMF, DDB and M&C Saatchi. BWM won Tabcorp in February 2012.

The consolidated Tabcorp creative account includes digital elements. Tabcorp Holdings spent $11.97 million on main media from 1 July 2012 to 17 June 2013, down from $15.42 million in the prior corresponding period.
