In the game of parodies, you win or you don't win. SBS has released a series of comedy sketches lampooning key moments from hit series Game of Thrones for its online comedy portal.

The five videos were produced by comedian Dan Ilic and Motion Picture Company and directed by Andrew Garrick, creator of Micro Nation, with assistance from stand-up comic Michael Hing.

They were written and performed by Sydney comedians from Project 52 and sketch show Make Way for Ducklings.

Neal Downward, managing editor of SBS Comedy, said in a statement: "Our first videos made exclusively for SBS Comedy use emerging Australian comedians and focuses on what we’re all thinking about right now.

"Game of Thrones. Seriously, did you get a load of the new season trailer? This season is going to be off the chai… anyway the videos are very funny and you should watch them."

The popular HBO series returns for a fourth season on Monday on Foxtel and illegal torrent sites.
