SapientNitro has bolstered its digital capabilities with the appointment of Quantium Media Solutions head of digital, Dante Botha, as head of digital strategy.
Botha joins SapientNitro in the newly-created role and will head up digital strategy nationally. He started at SapientNitro last week and will be based in Sydney.
Prior to his time at Quantium (formerly Fidelity Communications), Botha worked at Universal McCann where he was general manager, digital services and digital director.
He joins SapientNitro's thought leadership team, which includes strategy director Dan Bye, CRM director Dan Wilson and new arrivals senior strategist Jeremy Taylor Riley and head of UX strategy and design Paul Taylor.
Head of technology strategy Bryan Jones will arrive from SapientNitro's Chicago office at the end of this month and will also be part of the thought leadership team.
SapientNitro national managing director, Paul Bennett, told AdNews: "We're continuing to transform the Sapient business into a customer experience business. As we all know, customer experience is now being driven by digital and digital platforms and technologies. Dante is one of the best digital minds around.
"We're in the process of reshaping the business, putting in some new talent and continuing on the journey. I'm feeling very positive about 2012."
