Search and social agency Reprise Media has enlisted senior Google executive Ale Vendramin as its new general manager, as it continues to swell its management ranks.

Vendramin's appointment follows the announcement earlier this month that the firm appointed Dennis Wong and Harjit Rana as operations manager and social and analytics director. It also hired former M&C Saatchi staffer Wayne O'Brien as account director.

Vendramin is the former head of automotive for Google Australia and New Zealand, where he worked for three years. Prior to that, he was Ford Australia general marketing manager, digital and CRM. He worked at the car giant for 13 years in Buenos Aires, Detroit, Sao Paulo, Sydney and Melbourne.

His new role will see him report to Reprise Media chief executive Craig Ellis.
