You've seen it on the TV show, you've heard it on the radio. It's everything McCann hoped for and more. 'Dumb Ways to Die' has cleaned up at this morning's Siren Awards including Best Ad of the Year.

The campaign - created for Metro Trains Melbourne - by McCann Melbourne creatives John Mescall and Pat Baron, took home several awards in total the Siren Awards. It won a Gold Siren for its 'Set Fire to Your Hair' radio ad, being named as the year's Overall category winner. The same ad also claimed the top award in the Singles category being rewarded a Silver Siren.

The broader push was named winner in the Campaign section, winning another Silver Siren. Metro Trains also took home a cash prize as winner of the Client Award.

Meanwhile, a campaign called 'Earphone Bully', created by Sydney-based ageny Eardrum won the Craft category. The ad was created for anti-bullying organisations including Bullying No Way, Project Rockit and Reach Out.
