MRN and Fairfax to partner for Olympics coverage

Macquarie Radio Network (MRN) will partner with Fairfax Radio Network for a national Olympics broadcast across 64 stations throughout Australia.

2GB hosts Alan Jones and Ray Hadley will front the effort from London, broadcasting live evvery day from 27 July to 12 August across 2GB in Sydney, 3AW in Melbourne, 4BC in Brisbane, 6PR in Perth and 60 regional stations.

MRN group sales and marketing director Mark Noakes said: “Partnering with Fairfax Radio extends our network ensuring we can deliver advertisers a national audience”.

“We look forward to working with Fairfax Radio to create innovative sponsorship packages for our advertisers.”

3AW's Ross Stevenson and John Burns will also broadcast their breakfast program live for the first week of the Olympics.
