EXCLUSIVE: Tabcorp-owned betting company Luxbet has ended its relationship with US Sydney and launched a creative pitch, only weeks after it rolled its media account into OMD.

US Sydney is not taking part in the pitch process.

While the company would not comment on the details of the pitch, multiple industry sources have confirmed a pitch is currently underway, involving a number of undisclosed agencies.

A Luxbet spokesperson said the company did not want to comment on the process at this time.

The pitch comes just weeks after Tabcorp rolled its Luxbet media account into OMD. OMD handles the main portion of the Tabcorp account, but the Luxbet account was previously handled by Razor, which is the media agency linked with the creative incumbent US Sydney.

One source told AdNews Luxbet is looking to significantly invest in its creative product in the coming months.

Tabcorp Holdings spent an estimated $13.4 million on main media in the 12 months to March 2012, up from $11.6 million in the previous corresponding period, according to Nielsen. Luxbet spent $1 million on main media in the 12 months to March 2012.
