Brand and design agency Landor Associates has appointed Interbrand Sydney managing partner Dominic Walsh as managing director.

Walsh has returned to Landor after working with the agency from 2003 to 2005. Walsh has also worked for Blue Marlin, initially as general manager in Melbourne, followed by a managing director role in its Sydney office.

He has replaced outgoing managing director Nick Foley, who is relocating to Singapore to take on a regional role.

Foley said: "Clients are increasingly looking for effectively integrated brand experiences and Landor's global perspective and resources are unparalleled in the Australian and Southeast Asian market. Dominic's return will bring experienced leadership and fresh energy to our fast growing operations in this region."

Walsh said: "I believe Landor's global presence and active network presents a significant advantage to our clients and I am very much looking forward to returning to the Landor family."

Walsh will start at Landor on 2 November.
