Ikon cleans up at Festival of Media Asia

Australian agencies dominated last night's Festival of Media Asia Awards in Singapore, with Ikon Communications taking home the Agency of the Year award.

Australian agencies took the top prize in seven out of eleven categories. Aside from taking the top gong for the night, Ikon also won the Best Use of Digital Landscape and Best Use of Emerging Technology awards for its work on Commonwealth Bank.

UM Australia took home the Effectiveness Award for its work on Xbox Kinect, while Starcom Melbourne won Best Targeted Campaign for work on the Whiskas brand. 

Best Communications Strategy went to ZenithOptimedia, the Public Service Award went to Naked Communications, and Best Event/Experiential was awarded to UM. 

Network of the Year was awarded to UM, while Advertiser of the Year was Coca-Cola.
