Fairfax Domain creative account in play

The creative account for Fairfax's online property title, Domain, is in play, AdNews understands, and incumbent agency Whybin\TBWA will not be contesting the account.

The pitch is understood to be taking place under the guidance of TrinityP3, and is being handled separately from Fairfax's hunt for new creative agency partners for its other titles.

Whybin\TBWA has held the Domain creative account for four years.

Whybins also holds the main Fairfax account, for titles including the Australian Financial Review and Sydney Morning Herald, and is expected to remain the agency of record for major brand campaigns across Fairfax's titles.

The Domain creative pitch follows the appointment of a new media agency for the property website in February, when Vizeum took the business from fellow Aegis agency Carat.
