Don't want kids to smack you in the nuts? Wear a condom, says Durex

Need reason not to have kids? Durex has you covered - quite literally. The condom brand has an ad which details the pitfalls of fatherhood, complete with wince-inducing shots to the groin from toys and scolding coffee spills.

The American ad, called 'Protect Yourself', shows fathers being accosted by their out-of-control children. They ruin barbecues, destroy the front lawn with toys, climb on your face and are noise pollution you can do without, according to the ad.

The fathers get several blows to the groin (not in the good way) from a water gun being flung through the air, toys - and his golf clubs - strewn across the driveway, and perhaps worst of all, a child knocking steaming hot coffee from his dad's hands right into his supple groin. Ouch.

The ad features slow-motion shots and Beethoven's classic Moonlight Sonata, heightening the all-round pain and annoyance kids cause.

The ad, which was actually uploaded in May, has clocked up 578,155 hits so far on YouTube.
