Belgiovane Williams Mackay has promoted national head of digital strategy Megan Hales as national planning director, only a month after joining the agency.

Hales will lead planning across both Sydney and Melbourne offices. She joined BWM in September from The Campaign Palace as national head of digital strategy. Hales will also to continue to oversee digital strategy as it becomes integrated across the agency.

Prior to the Palace, where she was national head of digital strategy and brand planner, Hales spent two years at Saatchi & Saatchi. She has also worked in London at HDM Total Communications Agency, Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO, Joshua and Executive Studio.

BWM executive planning director Jamie Mackay said: "We are excited to announce Megan's promotion into this national planning role. Her cross-platform planning insights are second to none and we believe she will be able to deliver solutions to clients that will take their campaigns to the next level. Megan has delivered fantastic results for clients to date and we know she will continue to do so in this broader role."
