Aussies give Yanks something to chew on at One Show Awards

Mark, owned by M&C Saatchi, has won a gold and silver award for its Google/Lego 'Build With Chrome' campaign at the One Show Awards in New York.

M&C Saatchi's Mark and GPY&R Melbourne have both won gold and silver gongs at this year's One Show Awards in New York. McCann Melbourne and Whybin\TBWA Melbourne also took home awards.

Mark, the digital, data and direct arm of M&C Saatchi, won two awards for its Google Australia and Lego 'Build with Chrome' campaign. It won gold in the websites - services category and a silver for integrated branding online.

GPY&R Melbourne's 'Mobile Medic' campaign for Defence Force Recruiting won a gold in the mobile augmented reality category. It also won a silver in interactive advertising - augmented reality.

Meanwhile, Whybin\TBWA Melbourne won silver for Nissan's 'A World Without Petrol' campaign in interactive advertising - environmental / experimental. The agency also won a Green Pencil award for the campaign. Green Pencils are given to the most environmentally conscious work of the year, with this the first ever being given to a local agency.

McCann Melbourne's 'Dumb Ways to Die' continues to win big.The firm takes home a gold in the online film and video category.
