Melbourne-based Jem Downing has won Audi's 'just don't call it crowdsourcing' interactive campaign, 'Australia. Land of Quattro', which invited Audi fans to edit together their own TVC for the eponymous vehicle.

The campaign, created by Holler, saw 2,275 unique TVCs produced. Downing's version was picked as the winner by a panel including Audi MD Andrew Doyle, marketer Kevin Goult, Holler CEO Mike Hill and actors Richard Roxburgh and Naomi Watts.

Downing's TVC, with his name appearing in the credits as director, aired nationally last Sunday. He'll be flying with his girlfriend in business class to Germany and Austria for the Audi Ice Experience event and a tour of the the Ingolstadt production facility and museum.

Launched at the end of July, the microsite attracted more than 150,000 unique visitors, and clocked up more than 880,000 interactions with the site for over 18 minutes.

Goult said the campaign had been extremely successful: "Congratulations to Jem. He produced a very dynamic commercial as part of our 'Land of Quattro' campaign, and as a result, he's heading off to Europe in January 2014 as our guest to experience the very heart of the brand."
