APN Regional Media goes programmatic

Stokes: stoked.

APN Australian Regional Media has started to sell its ad inventory programmatically, launching a private marketplace powered by Rubicon Project.

The move has been welcomed by trading desks because it means they can access its 30 sites and give clients some assurances about where their ad dollars are being spent. ARM has some 32 local news sites in regional Queensland and northern NSW.

ARM has made Jennifer Stokes programmatic trading manager across desktop, mobile and video. Stokes helped relaunch the AFR.com during six years with Fairfax Media and spent time with Google in Japan.

“The response to ARM’s audiences in this channel has been encouraging with multiple deals already in place for launch," said Stokes.
