Comedian Anh Do does Iceland

The premiere of Anh Does Iceland won 729,000 viewers for Seven last night – just enough to get it into the top 10 free-to-air TV shows.

But it was the mini pop star wannabes on Nine's' The Voice Kids that won the night, with 1.665 million people tuning in to see them tune up, according to preliminary overnight ratings figures from OzTam.

It set Nine up to take the biggest audience share, with 32.3%, followed by Seven with 27.8% and Ten with 20.2%.

Ten's MasterChef Australia was the fifth most-watched program across Australia's five metro areas, with an audience of 952,000.

And there was no House Rules last night. It returns to our screens tonight.

A repeat of the 10-minute consumer show The Checkout: Snack Size made it into the top 10, in ninth spot with 796,000 viewers for the ABC. And Grand Designs, also on ABC1, finished sixth with an audience of 940,000.

Nine's House Husbands also made the top 10, with 914,000 people watching to put it in seventh place.

Completing the top 10 was Nine's 60 Minutes, in second spot with 1.552 million viewers, Seven News, third with 1.394 million, Nine News, fourth with 1.281 million, and ABC News, eighth with 801,000.
