EXCLUSIVE: Tourism Victoria has shortlisted Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Ogilvy Melbourne and 18-year incumbent Publicis Mojo Melbourne for its highly sought-after creative account.
The shortlist has been narrowed down from a long list of seven agencies following presentations in early June.
Publicis Mojo is defending the account after 18 years of producing iconic campaigns including, “You’ll love every piece of Victoria”.
Tourism Victoria launched a tender for its creative services in March with a contract term of four years. Publicis Mojo’s current contract expires at the end of September.
The winning agency will be tasked with developing marketing strategy and major campaigns for Melbourne and the state’s key tourism areas. The “You’ll love every piece of Victoria” messaging will also continue to live on after the pitch.
In addition to a lead agency, the tourism body is also looking to appoint a boutique agency to assist with day-to-day marketing requirements and fast-turnaround creative production.
