Two of Adelaide's leading agencies have become one following the purchase of Fnuky by full-service agency Them, with the Fnuky brand to fall to the wayside.

Fnuky general manager and strategic lead Jeremy Ervine owned 100% of the agency, working alongside business partner and creative lead David Campbell.

Ervine confirmed to AdNews he has sold his business, with Them benefiting mainly from Fnuky's digital clients and staff.

Them has been quietly building up its strength in Adelaide for some time, and is one of the leading players in the South Australian advertising market. The agency is headed by Mark Wightman.

Ervine told AdNews: “The Fnuky brand is falling away, because I think an agency name and brand is so linked to the people, so if that is changing then it doesn't make sense to keep the name.”

Ervine said he will reveal his future plans shortly, but said they will involve his creative partner Campbell.

Campbell was previously a 50% owner of Fnuky with Ervine, before Ervine bought 100% of the business.
