Cosmetics and fragrance giant Estée Lauder is conducting a global review of its media business, thought to be worth US$400 million. Currently handled on a market-by-market basis, Estée Lauder is understood to want to globally align its media duties within one network. OMD handles the Estée Lauder business in Australia, while fellow Omnicom agency M2M handles the account in the UK and Japan. WPP’s Maxus handles the US business. It is believed all incumbent networks are involved in the pitch, as well as Havas Group’s MPG. It is understood regional reviews are being held as part of the process.
