72andSunny to follow Sydney shop with Singapore

Global full-service agency 72andSunny will launch a Singapore office after it opens in Sydney, AdNews can reveal.

It's understood the two offices are likely to share creative resources.

The agency, which currently has offices in New York, Los Angeles and Amsterdam, is in the midst of hiring in Australia.

Former BMF managing partner Chris Kay is among one of the first hires for the Sydney office, joining from the agency's Los Angeles shop where his managing director and head of brand management.

Kay, who will be MD, is currently on the ground in Australia to lead the Sydney hiring spree, according to sources.

The Monkey's strategy director Mollie Hill has also joined 72 and Sunny as strategy director, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The office has also hired a junior writer in Nathan Pashley, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The Sydney office is expected to open in the next few months.
