MELBOURNE: JC Decaux has penetrated the Melbourne outdoor advertising market, winning the Yarra Trams contract. The contract doubles the size of JC Decaux in Australia with its 200 trams in a network that covers major attractions such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Docklands development and the Tennis Centre. JC Decaux is already prominent in the Sydney outdoor market with, among others, its high-profile contract for street furniture in the CBD. Buspak has the only other tram contract in Melbourne, after winning the Swanston contract with 275 trams.
