Pitch Wrap: City of Melbourne, Moccona, Berlitz

It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

City of Melbourne
Publicis Media-owned agency Zenith has been appointed to the media account for the City of Melbourne. The City of Melbourne has appointed Zenith to handle its media strategy, planning and buying account following a tender process involving a number of undisclosed agencies.The agency has previously carried out project work for the City of Melbourne but will now manage all campaign media activity. 

Moccona
Independent creative agency Edge has been appointed to the Moccona creative account by the coffee brand's parent company Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE). Edge has been tasked with handling the integrated advertising for the coffee brand and its portfolio of products including Moccona’s iconic glass jar as well as Barista Reserve, capsules, and mixes. “Against a very robust brief, the team at Edge showed in-depth understanding of the FMCG market, exceptional creative work and a passion for the Moccona brand," says Donna Mulholland, marketing director ANZ at JDE.

Berlitz Corporation
Media agency Bohemia, part of the M&C Saatchi Group, has been appointed by language educator Berlitz Corporation as its global brand and communications partner. The partnership will see Bohemia work with Berlitz to develop a global campaign across video, print, digital and social channels, in collaboration with Berlitz’s creative agency, Serve Creative. A global creative campaign and social playbook are currently being developed for adoption in the key markets of Asia, Europe, South America and the USA.
