Diageo's whiskey brand Johnnie Walker has moved its global creative account back to Anamoly.

The news comes after reports last year that Diageo was reviewing its global agency partners.

A spokesperson for Diageo in Australia confirmed with AdNews at the time of review that its local partner Leo Burnett would not be impacted.

Last year Diageo dropped $15 million to reposition Johnnie Walker in a national brand campaign created by Leo Burnett.

In May last year, Diageo also saw the departure of its lead Australian marketer Adam Ballesty to front up Foxtel's sports marketing division instead, with Andy Oughty taking on his previous role.
