EXCLUSIVE: NewsLifeMedia commercial director Zara Curtis has handed in her resignation after two years in the role, to move into another as yet undisclosed position in the media industry.

Curtis confirmed the move to AdNews, saying she was leaving the company to move into another role. She said she has stayed with NewsLifeMedia to help with the changes it is currently undergoing.

Curtis' last day with the company is Thursday (14 June).

NewsLifeMedia is currently in the midst of change. In recent weeks, the company has seen a number of staff departures and arrivals. GQ Australia editor Nick Smith was recently promoted to publisher - home and lifestyle group. Smith has taken over from Mark Kelly, who departed at the end of last month.

Vogue editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements and Inside Out editor Richard Waller have also recently departed, as NewsLifeMedia's new chief executive Nicole Sheffield restructures the company.

Clements has been replaced by former Harper's Bazaar editor Edwina McCann, who will also act as publisher of the title. McCann was poached from ACP Magazines alongside national circulation manager Brett Willis, who begins as NewsLifeMedia's general manager of retail sales and circulation this month.

Waller has been replaced by Sunday Magazine editor Claire Bradley, with the title's deputy chief sub-editor Lee Tran Lam receiving a promotion to managing editor.
