Dentsu Aegis' Vizeum has won the media account for pharmaceutical brand iNova, following a competitive pitch.

The media account previously sat with IPG-owned Initiative which was thought to be in the running as part of the pitching process, along with Havas and Atomic 212. Media spend for iNova is believed to be around $15 million.

AdNews revealed that iNova, which is part of the Valeant Pharmaceuticals International group of companies, was reviewing its media agency options in August this year.

Vizeum Sydney MD, Nick Behr, said he is thrilled to be working with iNova across brands including Duro-tuss, Difflam, Invsibile Zinc and DermaVeen.

“INova distributes some of Australia’s best-known and most trusted pharmaceutical brands,” Behr said. “We are excited to be partnering with them to deliver clever innovation and strategic solutions to drive their business forward in an increasingly competitive category.”
