Influencer and content platform Vamp has appointed Gabriele Famous as CEO.

Famous joins from Trustpilot where she was chief marketing officer. She also has extensive experience leading and scaling global technology organisations including Salesforce and Zendesk to her new role.

The company, which has clients including Adobe, Estée Lauder, Netflix, and Nestlé, says the appointment of a new CEO comes as it enters its next phase of growth.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Gabriele to Vamp. Her experience in high-growth companies is exactly what’s needed to lead the business into its exciting next phase,” Vamp cofounders Ben McGrath and Aaron Brooks say.

“We can’t wait to fulfil the company’s vision for the future with Gabriele on board.”

In addition to a new CEO, Vamp has launched new omni-channel capabilities to enable customers to coordinate influencer campaigns across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. With the new tools brands will be able to run simultaneous campaigns across social media platforms.

“With 4.2 billion global social users spending an average of 2 hrs 25 minutes each day on social networks, there’s never been more demand for effective social advertising,” Famous says.

“That’s why it’s so important that brands have the right technology to scale their conversations with customers and build trust.

“Vamp has an incredible track record across Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, in delivering beautifully effective content for leading global brands. The platform puts the power of social communication at a brand’s fingertips and allows them to harness it in a fast, efficient and scalable way. Its intuitive nature will allow Vamp to grow, enabling more marketers, of all abilities and budgets, to run influencer campaigns.”

Last year, Vamp launched its self-serve platform following a $8.5m capital raise. The platform allows companies to activate, launch, and measure influencer campaigns within hours. Vamp says the platform has been used in more than 65 countries and contributed to its compound annual growth rate above 100% over the past six years.

Former Vamp CEO Gill Findlay joins Brendon Cook, Jeff Law, and cofounders Ben McGrath and Aaron Brooks on the company’s board.
