Taylor Swift has been accused of “ripping off” an ad from French Luxury brand Kenzo in her lastest music video.

Viewers were quick to call out the similarities between between Swift's new music video and the 2016 Kenzo spot, directed by Spike Jonze and starring Margaret Qualley.

Kenzo has cheekily responded to the likeness of the two clips saying: "Listen Tay, I feel you. It’s hard to stay fresh. Call us, we can help.”

AdNews assessed both clips and there are some resemblances which are hard to ignore: The gowns are similar, as is the premise and the setting and the crazy faces Swift pulls.

There are also some major differences, primarily when it comes to the quality of dancing, with Swift known as being a fairly poor dancer.

Margaret Qualley is a classically trained ballerina, while Swift reenacts her now-famous weird arm-dancing which she debuted at the 2014 Grammys.

What do you think of the ads? Is Swift paying homage to the Kenzo ad or blatantly copying its creative?
