SYDNEY: STW Communications Group is to buy out Ikon Communications founding partners Gary Hardwick and Simon White's remaining 10% stake to take full ownership of the agency next month, AdNews magazine revealed today.

The deal, due for completion on 1 July, will see the founding partners step back from their day-to-day management roles to focus on building an international network and identifying acquisitions at home and abroad for the STW Group.

Ikon has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand. White revealed Ikon has already begun initiating an international roll out that may lead to new offices in New York and Perth.

Ikon has restructured its management team, with Sydney managing director Dan Johns moving into the role of managing partner and CBA account director Pat Crowley, client services director Annick Perrin and Ikon C2 director Brett Dawson becoming part of the core leadership team as agency directors.
