Sapporo appoints Cummins&Partners as strategic and creative partner

Beer brand Sapporo Australia has appointed independent agency Cummins&Partners as its new strategic and creative partner following a competitive pitch.

Cummins&Partners will work on relaunching Sapporo and introducing the product’s new livery later this year.

Cam Pearce, national sales and marketing director for both Coopers and premium beverages, says the partnership is an exciting time for the business.

"The insights and creative approach that Cummins&Partners has provided to date has been invaluable and we look forward to seeing our very distinctive campaign come to life later in this year," Pearce says.

Sapporo is Japan’s oldest beer and is licenced and manufactured in Australia by Coopers Brewery.

“It is always an honour to work with iconic brands and Sapporo is just that, a contemporary brand with a rich heritage and an unerring passion for quality," Cummins& Partners CEO Chris Jeffares says.

"We’re absolutely delighted to be working with them and bringing the new Sapporo work to life.”
