Realestate hires DM manager

MELBOURNE: Realestate.com.au has appointed Kirsty MacCulloch to the newly created role of direct marketing manager within the marketing communications and insights team.

MacCulloch's main focus will be to improve the performance of direct marketing activity, targeting both consumers and customers to ensure best practise across all one-to-one channels.

Realestate.com.au general manager marketing communications and insights Joanne Whyte said MacCulloch was chosen for her local and international experience specialising in direct marketing and her proven-track-record in delivering award winning effectiveness campaigns.

“Kirsty’s passion, creativity, fresh approach and leadership will certainly add value to the team at realestate.com.au. She has a broad range of experience having worked with many blue chip clients in the B2B and B2C sectors which is a real asset."

With over 14 years industry experience, MacCulloch has been recognised with more than 30 effectiveness awards for programs and campaigns delivered in both Australia and the UK including from the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA), the Direct Marketing Association (DMA UK) and a Gold Lion at Cannes.

MacCulloch started her career at Clemenger Direct (now Proximity) working with clients including Myer Direct, Telstra, Ansett Frequent Flyer and White Pages. She then spent almost nine years working at UK DM agency Craik Jones across clients such as Land Rover, Diageo and Unilever.

In addition MacCulloch ran the Boots the Chemist, Advantage Card loyalty program, driving incremental sales from its 15 million strong membership base.
