AdNews wraps up the biggest pitch news and wins from the last fortnight.

ANZ creative up for pitch

ANZ's creative account is up for pitch, the big four bank confirmed.

Special has held the account for the past three years.

Insiders said the bank wanted to establish an ecosystem of agencies to meet the evolving and complex needs of the ANZ Australia business.

Stockland pitches media

Property group Stockland is pitching its media account,.

The incumbent is EssenceMediacom. Havas Host is the brand's creative agency.

AdNews understands final pitches were earlier this week.

Porsche Australia is pitching creative

Porsche Cars Australia has put its creative account up for pitch.

The German automobile manufacturer confirmed the pitch to AdNews.

Incumbent DDB Melbourne first won the account in 2015, against incumbent of the time The Ross Partnership. The agency retained the account in 2019.

Match & Wood wins Maurice Blackburn pitch

Maurice Blackburn Lawyers has appointed Match & Wood for media strategy, replacing Half Dome.

The law firm has also appointed digital consultancy Overdose Digital.

Match & Wood wins Advantage Air

Air conditioning system supplier Advantage Air has appointed independent media agency Match & Wood.

Advantage Air founder & director David Devoy said he was impressed with how quickly Match & Wood grasped the complexity of the business.

UM wins Canteen

Mediabrands agency UM has been appointed to not-for-profit cancer foundation Canteen’s media agency account.

The remit includes performance and above-the-line media strategy plus planning & buying.

Today the Brave lands Westmead Fertility Centre account

Full service independent agency Today the Brave (TTB) has been appointed agency of record by fertility clinic Westmead Fertility Centre.

TTB will provide integrated support across strategy, creative, design, media, social and PR to break the silence around infertility, while raising awareness of innovative fertility treatments available to aspiring families.

Claxon wins Oroton digital media account

Luxury fashion brand Oroton has appointed Claxon its digital media agency of record.

Claxon chief growth officer Jade Axford said team was delighted to be entrusted with the task of shaping the brand’s future digital presence.

Melbourne Royal has, after a four-way competitive pitch, appointed creative agency the thrills for a multi-year partnership across the Melbourne Royal Show.

the thrills creative director, Paul Greskie, said  the team is excited to inject new life into the show that Victorians have grown up loving.
