Independent media agency Kaimera took staff away for its 5th annual offsite event at Mantra Ettalong Beach.

The two-night retreat last week was all about strengthening staff bonds, fostering growth, and celebrating the culture that makes the Kaimera family so special.

"It's our favourite time of year at Kaimera," Kaimera CEO and founder Nick Behr told AdNews.

The retreat kicked off with inspiring sessions providing valuable insights and set goals for the future.

The highlight guest speaker was proud Anaiwan and Biripi woman and Matildas star Kyah Simon.

Simon shared her incredible experiences, representing Australia more than 100 times in professional football, emphasising the importance of teamwork, diversity, and gender equality.

"Her inspiring words motivated us to embrace these values within our own team," Behr said.

The days were also filled with a variety of team-based activities facilitated by P3 Coaching and a visit from 5-year standing charity partner, MMAD's Dom.

"It was all about teamwork and collaboration, but it wouldn’t be a Kaimera offsite without some fun... and we sure had some fun!" Behr said.

Staff also had plenty of free time to enjoy relaxing by the bay, playing pool competitions at the local club, sharing many meals, and, of course, the annual sing/dance-off on the final night.

"These are the moments of real value for any company to build culture and team spirit," Behr said.

"I can safely say the offsite was a resounding success—great times with great people.

"I personally cannot wait for what next year’s offsite will bring!"
