ARN has appointed Fayad Tohme to the newly created role of chief digital and technology officer.

The role, reporting in to ARN CEO Ciaran Davis, sits within ARN’s executive leadership team. Tohme will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of digital, data, technology, and product innovation for ARN.

He joins ARN from Nova Entertainment, where he was chief digital officer responsible for developing Nova’s digital strategy and commercial growth. Prior to Nova, he has held a range of digital leadership positions across consulting, strategy, and transformation.

Davis said: “We’re building the best broadcast radio and digital audio business in the country and are really excited about the roadmap we are developing.

“Fayad brings with him a wealth of knowledge and skills, and his appointment is a key part of ARN’s future to drive growth across existing and new digital platforms."

Tohme said: “I’m thrilled to be part of a truly dynamic and inspiring business. ARN’s rich heritage in audio, creative and sale capabilities make me excited about the opportunity ahead.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team to help ARN achieve its next phase of growth and build Australia’s most innovative, digitally led audio business.”

Alongside the appointment of Tohme, ARN has also created a new Digital & Technology Leadership Team, which comprises of Tracey Gillan (head of commercial operations), Corey Layton (head of digital audio), Rich Howells (head of digital commercial), Matt Ollerenshaw (head of broadcast and workplace technology) and a soon-to-be appointed head of business solutions.
