WeThinkMedia wins rights to athlete vlog site 20Four

Australian media representation business WeThinkMedia has won the exclusive rights to represent athlete-to-fan digital marketing business 20Four, which features more than 100 sporting heroes who create and share content every day. WeThinkMedia, which was founded by former Nine revenue chief Peter Witlshire, will help the mobile-based sporting community connect with media buyers and advertisers. “That engagement has real value for brands and WeThinkMedia’s deep relationships with the media buying community and advertisers make them ideal partners to communicate 20FOUR’s story and advance our commercial expansion,” 20Four CEO Chris Haigh says. The move provides WeThinkMedia with “a powerful social influence and marketing platform”. WeThinkMedia’s head of sales Jane Stucci adds: “In our sports-mad country, athletes deliver a rare combination of authenticity, engagement and influence. We’re delighted to join forces with 20FOUR to involve advertisers in this powerful equation.”

Accordant to sit within Isobar

Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has placed its recent digital personalisation acquisition Accordant into Isobar Group, re-branding the business to 'Accordant, Linked by Isobar'. DAN says the strategic alignment continues to build Isobar Group ANZ offering, “developing strong digital specialisation across data, creativity, design, technology and personalisation”. Accordant, a digital marketing personalisation agency launched in 2014, and uses data and technology to personalise and optimise the customer experience, and is the first agency to receive the title ‘Adobe Target Specialisation Partner’ globally. It was acquired by DAN in May 2017.
