M&C Saatchi sees pre-tax profit beating expectations

24 November 2021

M&C Saatchi says it continues to trade well and predicts its pre-tax profit for the 2021 financial year to be ahead of market expectations.

The business provided a trading update today, its first since the last update in September when it reported headline profit before tax of £7.1 million.

“As a result of the continued strong performance, management now believes the Company's headline profit before tax for FY21 will be ahead of consensus expectations, with both revenue and operating profit margin ahead of market forecast,” the company said in today's trading update.

M&C Saatchi also says new business remains strong, with new projects for Apple and Mars, and extended relationships with Commonwealth Bank, Whoop and TikTok.

The company also highlighted its campaign 'Icelandverse', which poked fun at Facebook’s rebrand to Meta, for being “one of the most talked about campaigns of the year”.
