LinkedIn's Australian videos on workplace insights via Jack Nimble

By AdNews | 17 February 2023

LinkedIn has launched a new video content series, created by local creative agency Jack Nimble, to share knowledge and insights on the workplace from Australian-based creators.

Throughout the six-part series, LinkedIn creators will equip Australian professionals with ideas, insights and inspiration to help them succeed in the modern world of work amid a climate of economic uncertainty and an evolving jobs market.

The campaign is the local iteration of an international content series that launched in France last year, aimed at spotlighting the plethora of valuable career content on LinkedIn.

Developed in partnership with creative and production agency Jack Nimble, the series covers a range of issues Aussie professionals are likely to face while growing their careers, such as searching for a mentor and bringing their true self to work. The creators come from a variety of industries and backgrounds, helping to bring a unique perspective to a range of workplace topics.

The first instalment of the series, The Job Seeker’s Guide to Rejection, went live this week across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, with five more episodes to be released weekly over February and March.

It features recruiter and founder of UNRiVALLED Agency Russell Ayles, who unpacks the importance of maintaining resilience when job seeking.

Additional episodes in the series include:

  • ‘Ready, Set, Resilience,’ with comedian and personal branding consultant Diana Nguyen
  • ‘Combatting Tall Poppy Syndrome’, with STEM communications expert Kylie Ahern
  • ‘From Mentee to Mentor,’ with Collabosaurus founder Jessica Ruhus and Your CEO Mentor founder Emma Green
  • ‘Tell It Like It Is,’ with straight-talking creative Michael Beveridge
  • ‘Opening Doors,’ featuring Indigenous Engagement Consultant Dixie Crawford

Brittany Ruppert, social marketing manager at LinkedIn Australia: “This new content series aims to link professionals with the experts who can help them unlock possibilities in their careers.

"The French campaign proved the power of spotlighting regional expert voices to give local professionals access to fresh ideas around the topics most relevant to them, so we wanted to replicate its success and add a unique Aussie twist.

“The world of work has been extremely dynamic in recent years, which has understandably created some uncertainty for professionals.

"Despite that, LinkedIn’s data shows Australians are feeling confident about their career opportunities in 2023. Our aim is to give them the tools they need to channel that optimism into tangible, positive outcomes in their professional lives, whether through making new connections, landing their dream job, growing a supportive community, or embracing their true self at work.”

Angus Mullane, co-founder and executive producer of Jack Nimble:, “The creator-led strategy was central to bringing fresh perspectives to the conversation and being a genuine value add to local professionals.

"We underwent an extensive screening process and spent hours interviewing professionals to ensure we unearthed only the most authentic and exciting stories around the world of work, with the team focusing on real-world, actionable advice that could help someone in their career.”
