Interplay Media makes two senior hires

Specialist sport, music, and gaming programmatic agency Interplay Media today announced two senior hires with Nick Splitter appointed general manager of the digital publishing business, Zero Digital Media, and Jarryn Evertzen as national sales manager.

The business has seen growth through 2021 as the Australian market recovers from COVID and is now looking to grow strategically by investing further into both its content offerings and commercial products.

“We are seeing significant growth in digital publishing across our specialist areas and advertisers are seeking to connect to these audiences, across, sport, entertainment and gaming,” Interplay Media managing director James Spinks says.

“Our publisher and advertiser clients also want a nimble approach to create the best possible user experience, and our mission is to continue to do that.”

Splitter’s remit will be to continue to grow the Zero Digital Media publishing business as it attracts new users to its various brands.

He brings more than a decade’s worth of experience in Australian digital content and media across the sports and wagering landscape with stints at SportsTG, Mad Bookie,and Stats Insider.

He also previously worked for Fox Sports Pulse, Australia’s largest grassroots sporting network of 30,000 clubs.

Evertzen will focus on driving commercial growth across the business nationally, leveraging his experience of working with some of Australia’s largest brands and agencies during his 12 years in the sales and advertising space, specialising in digital, creative and programmatic solutions.

He has formerly worked at publishers Pedestrian Group and Fairfax Media.

Interplay Media has worked with brands such as Kayo, ESPN, Foxtel, TAB and Asics.

The company works with multiple adtech providers on the sell side of programmatic advertising.
