Influencer marketing agency Born Bred Talent is ‘reaching or the bold’ with a rebrand and strategic positioning

Born Bred Talent and its creative agency, Born Bred Creative, are unleashing a new identity for brands, creators and industry, encouraging all to embrace the spirit of creativity and authenticity for a future where brands dare to be bold.

Stephanie Scicchitano, GM of Born Bred Talent, said the rebrand was the obvious next step in maturing across the influencer marketing space.

We’re always reaching for what we call ‘the bold’, so it was the perfect synergy to shake things up completely and actually do a proper rebrand,” she said.

The creative, content and talent agency has collaborated with strategic branding agency Nectar & Co.

‘Reach for the bold’ stems from the agency’s CEO, Clare Winterbourne, says Scicchitano.

“Clare is fabulous and has a creative, bold mind. We took her creative flair and her boldness when it comes to thinking outside the box, the perfect message to rebrand with.”

Scicchitano says the rebrand is a way for Born Bred Talent to solidify itself as a leader in market, innovating in its approach when working with brands and creators.

“At the moment, we're really focusing on our creators and building their brand rather than just making them a household name. We’re reaching for our creators to build a long term brand because we know the issues of longevity; it isn’t always the longest career for them,” she said.

Born Bred Talent is working with creators to build on their brands and show them what that looks like.

The rebrand by Nectar & Co has yielded accomplishments for Born Bred Talent, including securing the Amazon Shopfront campaign brief across Australia and New Zealand, following a partnership with Emotive Agency on Amazon’s creative campaigns.

Scicchitano joined as GM in late August of this year, taking the helm of the agency’s strategic direction.

Her focus is to keep pivoting and leading the business in the right direction across the industry, she says.

“This industry is evolving and changing, and for me personally in this position, I’m wanting to find the next new or best thing that’s going to take the business to the next phase, rather than just spinning the same wheel we see everyone spinning,” said Scicchitano.

Scicchitano notes that she’s living by what the agency’s vision is, which is having an innovative and 360 approach to everything rather than just doing a carbon copy of what everyone else is doing.

In the current influencer marketing sphere, Scicchitano says there is a lack of education.

“It's more so educating brands on how to work with creators but also educating creators on how brands work,” she said.

John Paul Wager, managing director of Nectar & Co, said working with Born Bred Talent has been a creative journey like no other.

“Our shared vision for storytelling and design-forward thinking has led to the development of an identity that not only unites their team and services, but captures the true essence of Born Bred Talent as an innovator and industry leader,” he said.

For Scicchitano, it seems this world can be very transactional at times.

We’re trying to change that transaction and make it a lot more of a journey and a personal approach with our brands,” she said.

So it doesn’t just feel like ‘hey, here’s the rates... here you go’.We’re trying to nurture the relationship with the brand and the creator to make it a long lasting one.

“We are excited to embark on this journey and invite everyone to join us as we push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
