Today we head to California to speak to CEO and co-founder of visual marketing startup ShareRoot, Noah Abelson.

In one sentence, how would you describe what the company does?

We bring brands and consumers closer together by enabling consumers to create and provide the photos, videos, and text that people see in advertising and marketing.

In one sentence, what does your role involve?

Multi-tasking/mandatory lack of prolonged focus.

Within the last six months/year, what stands out as the company’s major milestones?

Client growth across geography and industry, in addition to building the features that brands and consumers want (ahead of schedule).

Best thing about the industry you work in:

Rapid change and dynamic growth.

Previous industry related (ad land/ad tech) companies you have worked at:

AdParlor, Adknowledge, Wildfire.

Career-wise, where do you see yourself in three years time?

Running a larger and further reaching version of ShareRoot.

What is the elephant in the room? The thing that no one is talking about – but they should be.

No can do - I'm an open book.

Fighting to end modern day slavery or dog walking.

Running ShareRoot and contributing time to a non-profit.

Multi-faceted.

What's your poison:

A drinking fountain that doesn’t work - sends me into a swirl of depression... In one moment you think you have come across the man made gift to society and next you learn that you will remain parched.
